Mission from Bylaws:
The Board of Music and Arts will oversee a comprehensive music
and arts program to complement Plymouth’s mission; oversee
Plymouth’s children, youth, and adult choirs; provide music and
art for Plymouth’s services; and foster growth and enrichment of
Plymouth members, of all ages, through music and the arts.
Major Events/Achievements in 2024-2025:
Meaning and Purpose:
• The Music and Arts program provided a full schedule of
programming.
• Developed and secured a budget that supported the Music
and Arts needs in an environment of increasing costs.
• Continued to retain and hire competent trained professionals
to direct our adult, youth and children’s choirs and ensembles.
• Started work on the organ refurbishing and updates.
Justice and Kindness:
• Explore and integrate art that provides strong connections to
Plymouth’s Core Values and the entire community.
Hospitality and Belonging:
• Plymouth Music and Arts hosted a number of outside vocal
and instrumental groups, welcoming visitors both in person
and online.
• Collaborative music and arts events with Corinthian Baptist
partnership.
