Propelling our legacy into the future.
THIS MOMENT
For Children, Teens and Families:
Family Activity Idea: “Care Package Creation”
Reflection Questions for Teens:
As a family, gather supplies to create care
packages for those in need (e.g. hygiene items,
snacks, a warm note). Discuss who might receive
these packages (people in the community,
shelters, etc.) and work together to deliver them.
Plymouth Church will also collect them next
Sunday, and teens will facilitate delivery.
1. What does it mean to you to be a safe place
for others, like the innkeeper in the Good
Samaritan story?
2. Can you think of a time when you showed
compassion towards someone who was
struggling? What did you do, and how did it
feel?
3. How can our group (Plymouth Teens) work
together to create a “safe space” for others in
our community? What specific actions can
we take?
Reflection Questions for Children:
1. How can we show kindness to others like the
Good Samaritan showed to the traveler?
2. What are some ways we can help make our
church a special place for everyone who
comes here?
This activity reflects the innkeeper’s role in caring
for others and embodies the theme of being an
inn for the world.
