Family Activity Idea: “Talent Showcase Night”
Reflection Questions for Teens:
Set up a family talent night where each
member can share or demonstrate their unique
gifts (singing, art, storytelling, etc.). After the
performances, discuss as a family how each of
these talents can be used to serve others in your
community, just like the servants in the parable
were entrusted with valuable gifts.
1. What gifts do you believe God has entrusted
to you, and how are you currently using them?
2. Can you think of a situation where fear might
have stopped you from using your gifts?
What could you do differently in the future to
overcome that fear?
3. How can we encourage each other to
step out of our comfort zones and use our
gifts more boldly within our church and
community?
Reflection Questions for Children:
1. What special skills or talents do you have that
you can share with others?
2. How can we show love and kindness to our
friends and family by using our gifts?
Consider scheduling a time to take these talents
out into the community to help others!
