Propelling our legacy into the future.
THIS MOMENT
For Children, Teens and Families:
Reflection Questions for Teens:
1. What does “radical generosity” mean to you,
and how can you demonstrate it in your daily
life?
2. Can you think of a time when you worked
with others to achieve a common goal?
How did that experience transform your
understanding of community?
3. How can our youth group promote a spirit of
sharing and collaboration within our church
and beyond?
Family Activity Idea: “Community Service
Challenge”
Organize a family community service project
where each member contributes their time and
talents. Choose a cause, no matter how big or
small, that resonates with your family, such as
volunteering at a local food bank, cleaning up a
park, or helping a neighbor in need. Together,
discuss how this act of service reflects the
principles of sharing life and resources for a
greater purpose, similar to the early church in
Acts.
After the project, gather as a family to reflect on:
Reflection Questions for Children:
•
1. What is something you enjoy sharing with
your friends or family? Why is sharing
important?
2. How can we help others in our community,
just like the early church did?
•
•
How did it feel to work together for a common
cause?
What did you learn about generosity and
collaboration through this experience?
How can you continue to find ways to serve
and share as a family moving forward?
This activity emphasizes the theme of
stewardship and the joy of working together for
something bigger than oneself, fostering a shared
mission within your family and community.
