Reflection Questions:
1. What does Jubilee mean to you — personally and as a church?
2. How can Jubilee be both a time of celebration and a call to action?
3. Where do you see brokenness in our community that needs the restoring work of Jubilee?
4. How can stewardship help create spaces of restoration and renewal?
5. What do you want to celebrate about Plymouth’s past?
6. What new thing might God be calling us to celebrate in the coming years?
This Moment Prayer:
Creator God: May this moment begin by acknowledging you as the source of all things good, true, and
beautiful.
In your abundance, we have been entrusted with many gifts of time, talent, and treasure. Teach us to be
faithful stewards of your gifts, using them wisely. Inspire us to plan and build for a future where people will
experience your presence and peace generations to come.
Generous God: In this moment of our life together, let us remain mindful of the great need that exists in our
community.
May we be a people focused on loving and caring for our friends, families, and neighbors who long for
livable wages, adequate resources, and housing security. Instill in us a spirit of true generosity, that we
may share our gifts with joy and compassion.
Loving God: Help us to embrace this moment as a time to deepen our understanding of stewardship as a
way of life, shaping our hearts and lives to resemble your love and justice.
During a time when despair rules the day, empower us as a church willing to move forward with courage,
vision, and hope for a world renewed and restored in your grace.
With a spirit of gratitude, we pray – amen.
