are just some of the big events happening in worship and

ACTION IN CONTEMPLATION: LENTEN DEVOTIONAL
Pastor John and the Board of Christian Social Action have
written a series of devotionals for you to read and reflect upon
during Lent. There are 3 readings per week.
Paper copies can be found near the entrances to
the Sanctuary or find a digital copy on our Lent

Those participating in the Lenten Devotional are also invited
join in conversation in the Library. Share your thoughts and

GRAY AREA THINKING WITH ELLIE KRUG
Saturday, March 7, 6:30-8:30 PM, light dinner at 6 PM
Join national speaker, transgender writer and “human inclusionist”
Ellen “Ellie” Krug as she talks about organizational culture and
culture change and conducts her highly valued human inclusivity
training, Gray Area Thinking. This workshop will
provide an easy-to-understand toolset on how

DES MOINES METRO OPERA ARTIST RECITAL
Sunday, March 22 at 3 PM
Join the Des Moines Metro Opera for a recital featuring soprano
Joélle Harvey, baritone John Moore, and pianist

POETRY AT PLYMOUTH
March 30, April 6, 13, 17 (offsite), and 20 from 6:30-8 PM
Join Plymouth’s Anti-Racism Committee and Pastor Luke for a
4-week poetry workshop, grounded in the work of poet Martin
Espada. Each week, we will start with a reading
discussion, exploring Espada’s prophetic voice.
All experience levels welcome. Registration will
